Flower Power

Recently, I had the privilege to test out my crafting skills for my friend Alexis.  She wanted me to create a beautiful and wild floral headpiece.  I'm not going to lie, my first thought was, "You actually think I can do this?!" But in the end it turned out beautiful! I decided to go with faux flowers instead of real ones because I wanted it to last longer than a few days. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Happy Resurrection Day!

I recently had a conversation with a friend over boba tea 

and the question was asked, 

"What is special about Easter this year to you?"

We quickly talked about the obvious... 

The deep pain that

Jesus suffered in place of our sins, 

dying a death we should have died, and 

was crucified on a cross for our transgressions.

The best part is what happens on the third day, He rose from the dead!

Jesus is alive!

These are all such great things to focus on

when referring to how the story of Easter is different in our lives.

Jesus is alive which means He will return!

It means I am to live as if Jesus' return is VERY SOON! 

Living intentionally;

by sharing the gospel, praying, and blessing our

neighbors, brothers, and sisters today! 

Let us act upon our faith and share the gospel

with those who do not know because

Jesus is coming back for His Bride! 

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. 

Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall He live."

Something about Ruche Bridal just seems so authentic and true to that vintage appeal.  Its enchanting, glamourous, soft, chic, elegant, and quaint all at the same time. I feel like the word "vintage" is thrown around far too much these days, but Ruche Bridal truly embodies the meaning of the word and delivers everything I picture a "vintage wedding" to be.
